JSU CAREER
2012-13: Saw action in all 28 games for the Gamecocks and was in the starting lineup 18 times…averaged 5.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while shooting 50 percent from the floor…continued to be one of the top shot blockers in the OVC, swatting 48 opposing attempts for an average of 1.7 per game that ranked third in the league…his 48 blocks tie his 2011-12 output as the second-most in a season in JSU’s Div. I history…was third on the team with 47 assists from the post position…in OVC play, averaged 6.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, while notching 29 of his blocked shots…scored in double figures five times and finished the year with a double-double of 10 points and 10 boards at Belmont on March 2…blocked at least one shot in all but three games during the year, including five vs. Tennessee Tech on Dec. 29.
2011-12: Played in all 33 games as a sophomore for the Gamecocks, starting inside for the final 23 of them…averaged 6.0 points and a team-high 4.8 rebounds per game…in OVC games, he scored 8.2 points and grabbed 5.4 rebounds per contest…ranked in the top 20 in the OVC in rebounds in all games and in conference games…was the OVC’s top shot blocker, swatting 1.5 per game and 2.0 per game in conference play…recorded four double-doubles on the year: 18 pts and 10 reb. vs. Eastern Kentucky on Dec. 17, 12 pts. and 10 reb. vs. Eastern Illinois Jan. 26, 11 pts. and 10 reb. at Tennessee State on Feb. 14, 10 pts. and 12 reb. vs. Southeast Missouri on Feb. 23…was fourth in the OVC with a .538 shooting percentage and was second in league games with a .583 percentage…scored in double figures nine times, including a season-high 18 points vs. Reinhardt on Dec. 19.
2010-11: Appeared in 26 of the Gamecocks’ 30 games as a true freshman…averaged 2.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game as a reserve and was a .426 shooter from the floor…went 3-for-4 from the floor in his debut in the season opener vs. West Alabama on Nov. 13, scoring a season-high seven points and grabbing five boards…pulled down a season-best seven rebounds at Southeast Missouri on Jan. 27…grabbed at least one rebound in all but three games…played a season-high 23 minutes twice, vs. West Alabama and at Southeast Missouri.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Hattiesburg High School in Hattiesburg, Miss…led the team as a senior with 15.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game…was a first team all-district player and was named the No. 13 senior in the state of Mississippi by Scout.com…also averaged 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
