2012-13: Played in six games as a true freshman before suffering an injury that forced him to miss the rest of the year…scored in all but one of those six games, with a season-best four points vs. Tennessee Tech…also pulled in four rebounds.

Prepped at Coronado High School under head coach Jeff Kaufman…averaged 17.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game as a senior…scored 30 points in a 74-64 win over Rancho Buena Vista (Calif.)…named MVP of the Sierra Vista tournament…named second team all-state as a senior…named first team all-district and first team all-region as a senior…as a junior he averaged 10.8 points per game to go with 8.7 rebounds and six blocks per game.
