JSU CAREER
2021: Started in 38 of 44 games played in her second season at JSU...scored 19 runs and had 22 hits in 94 at bats to hit .234...also tacked on three RBI...in the outfield, picked up 59 putouts with 23 assists to finish the season with a .954 fielding percentage.
2020: Started in all 20 games played in in her first year with the...scored 11 runs on 22 hits in 50 at-bats to lead the team in hitting with a .440 average...also picked up two doubles and 3 RBI to secure a .480 slugging percentage…drew five walks and posted a team-high on-base percentage of .491...from the outfield, she recorded 28 put-outs and two assists before the season was ended early due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
PRIOR TO JSU
Played two seasons for coach AJ Daugherty at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Ala…also played for current JSU assistant coach Sallie Beth Burch at WSCC…led the Lions to a 50-12 record and the ACCC Championship as a sophomore and a 47-13 record as a freshman…hit .401 with 31 stolen bases as a sophomore and .457 with 27 steals as a freshman…an all-region performer.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played for coach Steve Brock at Lamar County High School in Vernon, Ala…a second team all-state player for the Bulldogs…hit .400 with 180 stolen bases in her prep career…earned all-county honors.
PERSONAL
Born on Oct. 20, 1998…the daughter of Tim and Karon Bobbitt…has one brother – Lance, and one sister – Kasey Morris…majoring in biology at JSU.
