JAX STATE CAREER
2024: Did not appear in 2024 due to a shoulder injury...medically redshirted for the Gamecocks.

2023: Appeared in 50 games and made 43 games, primarily at catcher…batted .265 for 27 hits and four homeruns for an OBP of .380…Perkins was fifth on the team for BA, fourth for OBP, runs scored, and homeruns…had three RBIs and a homeruns against Army on February 11…defensively, she was second on the team for putouts with 193 and caught nine runners stealing for a fielding percentage of .981.

2022: Started in all 54 games of her freshman year with the Gamecocks...scored 22 runs and had 29 hits in 125 at-bats for a .232 batting average...also picked up 12 RBI, three doubles and two homers, including the first of her career against North Alabama on April 23… walked 17 times to get her on-base percentage to .384...from behind the plate, she recorded the second-most put-outs on the team with 228 to go with 21 assists and finish the year with a .988 fielding percentage.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played for head coach Tony Wolfe at Buford High School in Buford, Ga…a three-time first team all-state performer for the Wolves, while also being named the GHSA Class 6A Player of the Year in Region 8 and the Gwinnett County Defensive Player of the Year…a four-time first-team all-region selection, leading BHS to region titles in 2017, 2019 and 2020…hit .408 as a senior, .429 as a junior, .388 as a sophomore and .357 as a freshman, giving her a career average of .404…also in her career, hit 17 home runs and had an on-base percentage of .492, while also stealing 26 bases…from behind the plate, made just six errors in 630 innings played for a .987 fielding percentage…did not have a passed ball in her career and set the school record for doubles in a season with 16 in her junior campaign...selected to the All-State All-Star Team.

Born on December 11, 2002, in Atlanta…the daughter of Daren and Lynn Perkins…has two older brothers, Tyler and Dalton…majoring in secondary education at JSU
