Biography

2025: Finished the season with the third-highest batting average on the team (.300) ... Blauser collected 65 hits, 20 of them being doubles (leading the team and third in CUSA), four triples (sixth in CUSA), walked 43 times (third in CUSA) and 44 RBIs ... He completed the season with 25 stolen bases, the most on the team and third in the conference ... Against LA Tech in the opening game of the CUSA Baseball Tournament, Blauser racked up four hits to help the Gamecocks down the Bulldogs and another four hits to down Dallas Baptist and force a winner-take-all in the CUSA Semifinals.

Prior to Jax State: Spent the 2023 and 2024 season at Clemson… ACC Academic Honor Roll member … hit .103 with four runs, a double, homer, three RBIs, a .270 on-base percentage, six walks and a hit-by-pitch in 12 games (eight starts, including five at first base and three as the DH) … went 1-for-3 with a homer, two runs and a walk against Xavier on Feb. 16; was his first career game and hit…sat out the 2023 season as a redshirt…No. 374 freshman in the nation in the preseason by Perfect Game … No. 81 freshman in the ACC in the preseason by Perfect Game … played for Lexington County in the Coastal Plain League in the summer, when he hit .321 with eight doubles, a triple, 22 RBI, 28 runs and 11 steals in 32 games; Coastal Plain League All-Star Game selection.

High School: No. 448 player and No. 104 shortstop in the nation by Perfect Game … No. 44 player and No. 13 shortstop in Georgia by Perfect Game … Georgia Dugout Club All-Star … second-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball … member of the state championship team as a senior … lettered four times in baseball and three times in football at Wesleyan School, where he was coached by Brian Krehmeyer…his father, Jeff, played baseball at Sacramento City College and in the majors with the Atlanta Braves; in 13 MLB years (1987-99) with the Braves (11) and Cubs (2), he hit .262 with 217 doubles, 33 triples, 122 homers, 513 RBI, 691 runs and 65 steals in 1,407 games; All-Star Game selection in 1993 and 1997.
