JSU CAREER
2021: Started all 49 games in her second year with the Gamecocks...earned a .225 batting average and scored the third-most runs on the team with 21…had 34 hits in 151 at bats, while hitting seven home runs and five doubles to make up a .397 slugging percentage...was walked twelve times to help earn an on-base percentage of .293...from first base, had the second most putouts on the team with 264 to go along with seven assists and finish the year with the team’s second-highest fielding percentage of .976.
2020: Started in all 20 games she played in her freshman season with the Gamecocks...scored nine runs on 21 hits in 64 at-bats for a .328 batting average...also picked up nine doubles and three homers, the first of her career coming in a two-homer game against Coastal Carolina…posted a team-high .609 slugging percentage...was also walked six times to get her on-base percentage to .375...from the infield, she recorded another team-high 119 put-outs and 7 assists before the season ended early due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Northwest High School in Cedar Hill, Mo…played basketball, volleyball, soccer and track for the Lions…a first team all-state and all-conference player in basketball and volleyball and the Missouri State Champion and state record holder in the Javelin.

Born on June 29, 2001…the daughter of Greg and Debra Fortner…has one brother – Seth, and three sisters- Kayla, Brittany and Taylor…plans to major in education at JSU.
