Played for head coach Brett Lewis at Creekside High School in Fairburn, Ga…was a first team all-region player as a senior for the Seminols after averaging 19.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.0 blocks per game, good enough to earn him MVP honors…was listed as a two-start recruit by espn.com…as a junior, led the Seminoles to the Elite 8 in the state playoffs.
