JAX STATE CAREER
2026: Appeared in 29 games with 12 starts in her junior season with Jax State. Portillo finished the campaign with a 9-6 record in the circle after pitching a career-high 89.0 innings. The veteran arm totaled 50 strikeouts throughout the season and pitched two shutouts as well. Against ULM (2/27), Portillo pitched all seven innings without allowing a run, along with striking out five batters as well.
2025: Threw 68.2 innings for the Gamecocks and finished with a 9-4 overall record. Had a 3.87 ERA holding opponents to a .263 batting average against her, she had 49 strikeouts on the season. Her performance against Lamar (3/1) went 5.0 innings striking out eight and only allowed one earned run.
2024: Appeared in 16 games, finishing with a 4.78 ERA and a 3-3 record as a freshman…Pitched in 33.2 innings, striking out 25 batters and only allowing 23 earned runs…held opponents to a batting average against of .269…earned her first career win on Feb. 11 in a 6-3 win over UNC Greensboro, pitching a complete game and allowing just three earned runs…struck out a career-high five batters in a 4.0 inning outing on Feb. 24 against Southern Indiana.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played at Douglas High in Douglas, Ala., for head coaches Johnny Champion and Shane Brooks where she helped guide the Eagles to six-straight county championships…a 5x all-county selection, she earned all-county MVP in 2022 and 2023…second team all-state in 2022 and first-team all-state in 2023…finished her prep career with 1,030 strikeouts in the circle and 29 home runs at the plate…also earned all-county and all-area honors in volleyball at DHS.

Born March 26, 2005…the daughter of Tawnya and Gil Portillo…has two younger brothers, Ryder and Korbin…enjoys swimming and playing with her dogs and the TV show, Friends…undecided on her major.
