PRIOR TO JAX STATE
2024-26 (UAB): Dorsett spent the last three seasons as a member of the UAB Blazers, where she was one of the most consistent hitters on the roster during the span. From 2024-26, Dorsett played and started in 157 games, while boasting a .322 average at the plate in 494 at-bats, along with tallying 159 hits and 47 RBIs as well. On the base paths, Dorsett managed to swipe 30 bases during those three seasons as well. In her most recent season with UAB, Dorsett earned All-Conference Second Team honors after batting .322 at the dish with 58 hits and 15 RBIs as a junior.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Hewitt-Trussville High School and won three AHSAA Softball State Championships with the Huskies. Dorsett was named to the 2022 State All-Tournament Team, along with earning Second Team All-State honors in 2022. In 2023, Dorsett was named AL.com's Birmingham Player of the Year as well.
