ACCOLADES:
2026: Made 25 starts in 31 appearances as a freshman. Moore was named Conference USA Pitcher of the Year and Freshman of the Year after tossing 148.0 innings (4th in CUSA) with a 2.65 ERA (3rd in CUSA). Moore finished her rookie campaign with a 16-3 record (4th in CUSA). Additionally, the Missouri native struck out 119 batters throughout the season (4th in CUSA) and allowed a .215 average against her (4th in CUSA). Moore was also named CUSA Pitcher of the Week twice, along with bringing home three CUSA Freshman of the Week honors well. Makenna dished out 15 strikeouts against DePaul on Feb. 21 which tied Tera Ross for the most strikeouts in a single game by a freshman pitcher in school history and the second-most by any pitcher in program history.
HIGH SCHOOL: Helped lead the Eagles to four consecutive conference championships, a No. 1 state ranking and a No. 9 national ranking during her senior year. During her junior season she was named First Team All-Conference, All-District, All-Region and All-State. The pitcher was also named NFCA Second Team All-Region and was named the Eastern Jackson County Examiner Softball Player of the Year. Moore also lettered in track at Grain Valley High School.
