2019: Made 5 appearances with 3 at-bats in her junior year as a Gamecock.
2018: Made 42 starts in 36 games she appeared in as Gamecock Sophomore with 114 at-bats...her batting average came out to .228 with a slugging percentage of .289...she closed out the season with 11 runs scored, 6 walks and 1 home run on 26 hits… also had 4 doubles with 7 RBIs...had 205 put-outs with 13 assists and a fielding percentage of .978 as a catcher.
2017: Appeared in seven games as a true freshman … failed to record a hit in her three at bats but did score three runs as a pinch runner … made her collegiate debut on Feb. 12 against Houston Baptist as a pinch hitter.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played three years for head coach Maddie Monroe at Gordon Central High School in Calhoun, Ga…was a second team all-region player for the Warriors as a junior and senior…hit over .350 in each season of her high school career…played her freshman season for Cerritos High School in Cerritos. Calif.
PERSONAL: Full name is Ryann Paula Luna…born on Aug. 11, 1998, in Long Beach, Calif…the daughter of Paul Luna and Goriane Purdy…has a younger brother, Luke, and four sisters, Leia, Cameron, Gloriane and Prescilla…majoring in Biology at JSU.
