JSU CAREER
2022: Appeared in all 30 matches and played in 104 sets for Jax State as a redshirt sophomore…was fourth on the team with 236 kills, a new career-best…had 2.27 kills per set and hit .172 on the year…added 169 digs, 42 total blocks, and 11 aces, which were all single season career-highs…tied a best of 19 kills against Kennesaw State on Nov. 17…also set single game career bests of aces (4 at Jacksonville, Oct. 22), digs (16 versus Eastern Kentucky, Oct. 14), and hitting percentage (.667 at Alabama State, Sept. 13)…had double-digit kills seven times in 2022.
2021: Played in four matches during her sophomore season before suffering a season-ending injury...totaled 22 kills and 2.4 kills per set through nine sets on the year...posted a .275 hit percentage and totaled 12 digs.
2020: Made her collegiate debut on Feb. 7 against Southeast Missouri hitting .381 with 11 kills, five digs and two blocks in a preview of what was to come for the rest of the year…in 16 of JSU’s 18 matches during the Covid-19-shortened season, she hit .318 with 166 kills to finished fifth in the Ohio Valley Conference in hitting…she was tabbed the OVC’s Freshman of the Year along with First Team All-OVC honors after leading JSU back to its second-straight conference title…she hit over .300 in 10 matches and posted a .400 hitting clip or better in six matches, while registering a career-high 17 kills at SIUE (2/14) and at Morehead State (3/28)…finished her freshman campaign with 166 kills, 26 digs and 22 blocks.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played prep volleyball at Providence High for head coach Terri Purichia…a three-time first-team all-state selection, she led the Pioneers to sectional and regional championships each season and a state runner-up finish in 2016…she rejoins current JSU setter Lexie Libs who was her high school teammate on that 2016 squad…finished her prep career with 1,300 kills, 400 digs and more than 200 blocks…played club for Union Volleyball in Louisville, Ky., alongside fellow JSU freshman Macie Garrison…also recruited by Morehead State, UNCG and New Mexico State.
PERSONAL: Born August 31, 2002 in New Albany, Ind…the daughter of Kim and Brent Glotzbach…has a brother, Jake, and two sisters, Abby and Claire…her aunt Ali (McCrite) Glotzbach was one of the best defensive players in school history at Central Michigan where she ranks second in career digs…likes country music and favorite pro team is the Indiana Pacers…plans to study business management at JSU.
