2007: Saw action in 23 matches and 83 games as a junior in her first season with the Gamecocks…served as a defensive specialist and finished the season fifth on the team with 183 digs and an average of 2.20 digs per game…also had five kills on a .308 attack percentage…was fourth on the team in digs in Ohio Valley Conference play with 136, an average of 2.06 per game…recorded 10 or more digs seven times and had a season-high 21 at Tennessee Tech on Oct. 27.
Prior to JSU: Played two seasons for head coaches Brian Smith and Angie Byrd at Northwest Shoals Community College in Muscle Shoals, Ala…a two-time first team all-state setter for the Patriots…as a sophomore, led NW-SCC to a 36-9 record, the Alabama Community College Conference title and a 16-0 mark in conference play…led the state with 1,208 assists, an average of 9.5 per game that ranked 25th nationally…was ranked fourth in the state with a .549 hitting percentage, thanks to 128 kills and only 15 errors on 206 attempts…as a freshman, led the Patriots to a third-place finish in the ACCC after finishing second in the state with 750 assists, an average of 8.0 per game...also played softball at NW-SCC.
Prep: Played four seasons for head coach Angie Hall at Southside High School in Southside, Ala…led the Panthers to a 51-9 record in her senior season…also lettered in softball and basketball at SHS.
Personal: Born on May 2, 1987, in Gadsden, Ala…the daughter of Cheryl Kennedy and Mickey Booker…has a younger brother, Jared…an honor student at SHS, graduated 14th in her class with a 3.8 GPA…majoring in biology/pre-pharmacy at JSU.
