JSU CAREER
2019: Returned to indoors for her senior season and helped lead JSU to its first Ohio Valley Conference championship in 10 years...played in 27 of JSU's 30 matches, starting 15 of the final 19 down the stretch...had her best season in total digs (103) reaching double-digits for the first time against Tennessee Tech (Sept. 25) and Tennessee State (Nov. 16).Â
2018: Did not play indoors and focused primarily on beach volleyball where she led the Gamecocks with seven beach match victories.
2017: Played in 17 matches as a sophomore…recorded a season-best five digs against Towson on Aug. 25…finished with 36 digs overall and helped JSU return to the OVC tournament a second-straight year after a 23-13 season.
2016: Appeared in 21 matches during her freshman season…made her collegiate debut in her home state of Colorado at Air Force on Aug. 26, where she set a career-best with nine digs…played in 42 sets as a reserve during her rookie year, collecting 40 digs, seven assists and one service ace…concluded the season with a pair of digs against top-seeded Murray State in JSU’s Ohio Valley Conference tournament loss.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played four varsity seasons for head coach Meghan Law at Brighton High in Brighton, Colo…first team all-region as a junior and senior…played seven years for Five Star Volleyball Club.
PERSONAL: Full name Madeline Cloutier…born February 10, 1998, in Seattle, Wa…the daughter of Lisa and Erik Cloutier…has an older sister, Chelsea, and one younger brother, Ben…member of the National Honor Society…lists yellow as her favorite color…also recruited by ULM and Eastern Illinois…undecided on her major at JSU.
