JSU CAREER:
2019: Played in all 30 matches to finish her career with 135 matches played for JSU (5th all time)...became the 21st member of JSU's 1,000-Kill Club on Nov. 2 with 15 at Southeast Missouri...finished her career with 1,058 kills...led the Gamecocks with 89 blocks to become only the the third Div. I Gamecock to surpass 400 career blocks...named First Team All-OVC...guided JSU to its first Ohio Valley Conference championship in 10 years and reached the OVC Tournament in all four years.Â
2018: Started all 32 matches as a junior for the Gamecocks and became the only player to play all 124 sets…tallied a team-high 115 blocks and ranked second on the club with 293 kills…named second team All-OVC following the year…she hit .400 or above in 10 matches and had double-digit kills in 13 matches, including season highs of 19 against Florida A&M (Sept. 14) and at Murray State (Oct. 20)…matched her career-high three times with seven blocks…helped lead JSU back to the OVC Tournament and over the hump securing its first postseason win in nine years in a 3-0 sweep of SIUE on Nov. 15.
2017: Played in all 36 matches and started 25 as she continued her dominance at the net from her freshman campaign…finished second on the team with 99 total blocks and fifth with 201 kills…she matched her career mark with seven blocks in a match twice against Murray State (Oct. 13) and at Eastern Illinois (Oct. 21)…in the match at EIU she erupted for a new career best 23 kills on a .360 attack clip…hit above .300 in 14 contests…helped guide JSU to the OVC Tournament for a second-straight season.Â
2016: Made her collegiate debut in the season-opener at the Air Force Academy on Aug. 26 in front of a hometown crowd in Colorado Springs…started 36 of JSU’s 37 matches and was one of only four players, and the only freshman, to play in all 137 sets…finished second on the team in both kills with 274 and blocks at 133, including 16 solo stops…her 133 blocks was the fourth-most by a Gamecock in a single season, and helped Jax State finish second in the nation in total blocks…recorded 10 or more kills nine times including her career high of 18 which came in the opener at Air Force…posted a career-best seven blocks three separate times against Montana State (8/27), Kennesaw State (9/16) and Eastern Kentucky (10/28)…hit .300 or better in 16 matches including a .900 mark (9-0-10) against Mississippi Valley on Sept. 10.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at The Vanguard School in Colorado Springs, Colo…was a first team all-region and all-district honoree her senior season and twice an all-state honorable mention…finished her prep career with 984 kills…also a member of the track and field team where she placed 10th at state competition for the high jump…played club for Team Colorado Volleyball.
PERSONAL: Born October 27, 1998, in Colorado Springs, Colo…the daughter of Sara and Wade Frear…has a younger brother, Hayden…also recruited by Colorado, San Francisco State and South Dakota State…favorite movie is Secondhand Lions…majoring in Economics at JSU.Â
