2019: Missed most of the first half of the season with injury but returned for the best stretch of her career in the final months of her career...after playing briefly in the non-conference schedule, returned to the floor on Oct. 18 at SIUE with eight kills and three blocks off the bench...started the final 10 matches of the year reaching double-digit kills for the first time on three occasions including 14 against Tennessee State in the win that secured JSU's first Ohio Valley Conference championship in 10 years...finished in 18 matches with 107 kills, 56 blocks and 31 digs. 

2018: Appeared in seven matches down the stretch for JSU after missing most of the preseason with abdominal issues…made her season debut on Oct. 12 against Eastern Illinois…recorded multiple kills in her final five appearances, including a career-high nine kills off the bench at Tennessee State on Nov. 3…finished with 19 kills and five blocks.

2017: Limited to only 20 matches during her sophomore season as senior setter Jennifer Hart returned from injury…shuffling through different roles, she hit .375 with a season-best four kills along with a dig and a block against Nicholls State on Sept. 1…played sparingly down the stretch in just three of JSU's final 12 regular-season matches before being thrust back into the starting setter role for the conference tournament, filling in for an ill Hart…recorded 15 of her 17 season assists against Murray State in the 3-1 OVC setback…finished the season with 17 assists, 15 kills, 15 blocks and 11 digs. 

2016: Played in all but one of JSU’s 37 matches as a freshman…made her collegiate debut at the Air Force Academy with 16 assists, six blocks, two digs and a kill on Aug. 26…finished the year with 21 double-digit assist matches, including 13 of the final 17 matches as she improved down the stretch…totaled 424 assists while splitting time in the setter role…posted a career-best 24 assists in win over New Orleans on Sept. 9…also finished fourth on the team with 97 blocks to help JSU finish second in the nation in Division I blocks.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Mountain Ridge HS in Glendale, Ariz., under head coach Jen McGualey…totaled more than 600 assists and 160 digs over her final two seasons with the Mountain Lions…played for the Arizona Desert Sky Volleyball Club.

PERSONAL: Born June 12, 1998, in San Jose, Calif…the daughter of Linda and Bruce Schmidt…has one older brother, Sawyer, and sister, Sydney…also recruited by The Citadel and Air Force…favorite book is the “The Giver”…plans to major in exercise science at JSU.
