JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville State men's and women's tennis teams host Eastern Illinois to start a three-match Ohio Valley Conference home stand on Wednesday. Due to the forecasted weather, the match will be played at Samford University's indoor facility with the men's match starting at 10 a.m. followed by the women's match at approximately 2 p.m.
Following the EIU match, JSU welcomes Tennessee State on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. before Tennessee Tech visits on Sunday at 10 a.m. at the JSU Tennis Courts.
The Gamecock men enter the weekend 12-1 overall and a 1-0 OVC mark after a 6-1 win over The Citadel last time out. JSU's doubles team of

Scott Robertson enter the week ranked 74th in the latest ITA rankings posted on College Tennis Online. JSU's women are 8-3 overall and 2-0 in league play, falling to the College of Charleston, 6-1, last time out.
Eastern Illinois' men come into the weekend 7-7 overall and 0-2 in the OVC, dropping a 4-3 decision to Morehead State last time out. EIU's women are 5-8 overall and 1-1 in conference play also falling to Morehead State, 4-3, last time out.
Tennessee State's men and women are each 0-5 overall and 0-3 in league play after each team lost 7-0 to Western Kentucky last Friday.
Defending OVC champ, Tennessee Tech comes in with a 5-5 overall and 2-0 in the OVC, boasting the 102nd ranked singles player in the country in Dean O'Brien. TTU's women are 2-5 overall and 1-1 in the league.
