JACKSONVILLE – Jacksonville State has made venue changes to the 2011-12 JSU Men's and Women's tennis schedules, announced by the Athletic Department on Tuesday.

Beginning with Saturday's women's match against College of Charleston, the JSU women will play a pair of home matches at the Golden Springs Community Center in Oxford, Ala.  The Gamecocks' March 5 Ohio Valley Conference opener with UT Martin will also be held at the Golden Springs Community Center.  Match time on Saturday with the Cougars of CofC is set for 10 a.m., while the UTM match on Monday is slated for 1:30 p.m.

The women's squad has also moved three OVC matches to Gadsden, Ala.  Jax State will host OVC rivals Eastern Kentucky (March 11), Morehead State (March 18) and Southeast Missouri (April 1) at the Gadsden Tennis Center.  JSU's men and women will close out the home schedule on April 11 with a non-conference match with Mercer in Gadsden.

The Jax State men's squad will also move most of its remaining home matches off campus.  The Gamecocks' duals with EKU (March 11) and Morehead State (March 18) will be contested at the Gadsden Tennis Center.  JSU will host Tennessee Tech in Gadsden on April 1.

Both squads return to action on Thursday, March 1 as they travel to Chattanooga to face the Mocs of Chattanooga.  Match time is set for 1 p.m. CST.  The JSU will have a quick turnaround as they welcome in-state foe Alabama State to the JSU Tennis Complex on Friday, March 2.  First serve is set for 1:30 p.m.
