JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – The Jacksonville State women's tennis team hosts its final homestand of the season this weekend with matchups against Belmont and Tennessee State. The home stint begins Friday at noon when the Bruins visit the JSU Tennis Courts, and the Gamecocks close out the season Saturday at 11 a.m. against TSU.
 
Senior Day ceremonies will take place Saturday at 10:30 a.m., prior to the start of the Tennessee State match. The Gamecocks are set to honor women's tennis senior Claudia Marsala. Mathias Chaim, Austin McCormick and Jaryd Reese of the men's tennis team will also be honored prior to the men's match.
 
Belmont enters the weekend in search of its second OVC win of the season, while Jacksonville State and Tennessee State are both looking to pick up conference victory No. 1. Belmont sits eighth in the standings with a 1-6 league record, while TSU and JSU are currently tied for ninth at 0-7.
