JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville State rifle team had seven of its members named as a 2020-21 Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association Scholastic All-American, announced with the organization's postseason awards list.

Junior Mackenzie Van Patten (Business Marketing), , junior Trinity Hathaway (Criminal Justice), senior Sam Payne (Criminal Justice), junior Michael Dietz (Business Management), junior Owen Goad (Emergency Management), freshmen Kim Jettenberg (criminal justice) and Lars Lilleng (management) earned the academic distinction after a excelling in the classroom.

To qualify, an athlete must have maintained a 3.25 or better grade point average for the fall semester or have garnered a cumulative 3.20 or better GPA for their college career following the fall semester.

The CRCA also released its final team rankings of the season as Jax State finished 16th in the poll.
