JACKSONVILLE – Jacksonville State men's and women's tennis will compete in the Mercer Gridiron Classic this weekend in Macon, GA, hosted by Mercer.

This is the second fall competition for the men after participating in the Panther Invitational last week. The women will take part in their first action of the fall this weekend after the JSU Hidden Duals event was canceled earlier this month due to weather.

Doubles pair Maj Tomac and Vanja Dobmajac put on a good run at the Panther Invitational, reaching the finals of the blue draw. Vincente Arbelaez reached the semifinals of the white singles draw.
