JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville State men's and women's tennis teams will take on Chattanooga on Friday, Jan. 21 on the road.Â
Both squads were scheduled to play Lee University on Jan. 20, but the matches have been canceled due to weather.Â
The men's match will begin at 9 a.m. central while the women's match will start at 4:30 p.m. CT.
Friday's match marks the second of the season for the women's side while the men will open the season against the Mocs. Â
Last week the women opened the season against Mississippi State on the road, falling 7-0.Â
The men return to the courts for the 2022 spring season following a successful spring campaign in 2021. The squad finished 10-7 overall and 4-1 in the OVC last season. Entering their first season in the ASUN, the men were picked to finish sixth in the Preseason Poll.Â
Head Coach Mike Mucci brings back five upperclassman and two sophomores to go along with five incoming freshmen.Â
