"Playing so many strong players from a program like GGC that has such a storied past decade can only help our program going forward," Jacksonville State head coach Mike Mucci said following the event. "I think we learned a lot about our team and what we need to do to get better. This week at Regionals will be another test, and we will see how the guys step up and improve as the weeks go on."

Jax State's men will take part in the ITA Southern Regionals later this week. That invite, which is hosted by the University of Alabama, will take place Thursday, Oct. 13 through Tuesday, Oct. 18 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
