HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Gamecock women's tennis hits the road again this weekend as the program resumes its first Fall slate under head coach Michael Helms. Jacksonville State makes the trip to the Magnolia State on Friday and Saturday to take part in Southern Miss's Golden Eagle Fall Invitational.
 
Jax State shined in rainy Statesboro, Ga., last weekend as the team posted four singles wins at the Georgia Southern Fall Shootout. That positive outing came after a great start to the team's Fall schedule with impressive performances at the UTC Fall Invite (Sept. 29-Oct. 1) and the ITA Fall Regionals in Baton Rouge, La (Oct. 5-9).
 
Five competitors for the Red-and-White will be in action in this weekend's event. Irene Artigas, Zuzana Pavelekova, Polina Ramenskaja, Ella Tuomela, and Martina Zarza represent Jacksonville State against opponents from the southeast.
 
The Golden Eagle Fall Invitational will be held at the Southern Miss Tennis Complex in Hattiesburg, Miss. The invite will take place Friday and Saturday.
