Going Bowling (Again)
For the second consecutive season Jax State is bowl-eligible. The Gamecocks made an appearance in the New Orleans Bowl last season, defeating Louisiana 34-31 in overtime and are the first team to reach bowl games in its first two seasons at the FBS level since Marshall in 1997 and 1998.

Great Eight
Jax State is riding an eight game winning streak into the Western Kentucky game, including an undefeated 7-0 mark in CUSA play. The Gamecocks have won eight straight games for the first time since the 2017 season when it won nine-straight.
Gamecocks in CUSA
In Jax State's two seasons as members of Conference USA, head coach
Rich Rodriguez has led the club to a 13-2 record in CUSA matchups. Jax State is 18-2 in conference games in three seasons under Rodriguez.
Tre Touchdowns
Senior running back
Tre Stewart has scored 15 touchdowns over his last seven games and has recorded 20 total scores in 11 games, which is sixth-most nationally. Stewart is one of just three players in the FBS with multiple four touchdown games (Ashton Jeanty, Boise State; Bryson Daily, Army). Against Liberty, he became the second player in program history to post back-to-back 200 yard rushing games since
Troymaine Pope in 2015. He is the first Jax State player since Clay Green in 2005 with six consecutive 100-yard rushing games
Seeing Red

Jax State would have been four-for-four in the red zone against FIU, but took a knee inside the 5 on the final series. They were 2-for-2 against Sam Houston. Jax State also boasts the No. 3 red zone defense in the league, highlighted by a conference-best five red zone takeaways.
