The Jax State women's golf team plays its fourth and final fall tournament starting Monday morning at Old Waverly in West Point, Miss. at The Ally, hosted by Mississippi State.
Through three tournaments, sophomore
Rebekka Stutley leads the team with a 74.11 scoring average. Senior
Ebby Somers holds a 74.17 average, highlighted by a 73 average in second rounds this season.
Rachel Camp's 100 pars is the most on the team.
Joining the Gamecocks in the field are #10 Arkansas, #49 Cal State Fullerton, #27 Florida, Georgia Southern, Iowa, UL Monroe, Mercer, #14 Mississippi, Sam Houston, Southern Miss, Troy, No. 9 Vanderbilt, Xavier, and the host #13 Bulldogs.
The 54-hole tournament takes place over three days on the Par 72, 6,284-yard course which has been ranked as GolfWeek's No. 1 golf course in the state and among the publication's Top 100.
The Gamecocks will be among the first on the course with 8:30 a.m. tee times with Sam Houston and Troy.
Jax State placed ninth at this event last season with Camp leading the way in 18
th place at even for 54-holes.
