JACKSONVILLE — Jax State soccer head coach Corey Smith has announced the signing of two players for the upcoming 2026 campaign.
Both players are coming to the Gamecocks directly from high school, with one from Alabama and one from Texas.

Forward | Auburn, Ala. | Auburn HS
Played high school soccer at Auburn High … Earned 7A All-State honors twice in her career … Also named to the 2025 All-Star team and was the 2025 AHS MVP … Also played tennis in high school, where she was a four time 7A State Champion … Academically, she was named to the AHS Honor Roll in 2025 and was an ambassador in 2023.
JADE CHALKER
Defender | San Antonio, Texas | Pieper HS
Played high school soccer at Pieper High in San Antonio, Texas … Was a two-time regional finalist in 2023 and 2025, winning her district championship in 2024 … Defensive Player of the Year honoree in 2025 … Named First Team All-District in 2025, Second Team All-District in 2024 … Named Freshman All-District in 2023 … Already named a captain for the 2026 squad at PHS … Academically, she is a member of the National Honor Society and an Honor Roll student … Named PHS Student of the Month in August 2025.
