Six Gamecocks Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. — College Sports Communicators announced on Wednesday that six Gamecocks soccer student-athletes were named to the Academic All-District Team. CSC's honorees include Lea Monteiro, Raylin Dixon, Louise Featherstone, Zemira Webb, Alessia Donia, and Amelia Jacobs.

This marks the second time in three years that Jax State has had six players honored. The Gamecocks have had five or more honored every year since the move to Conference USA and five or more for the fourth-straight year.

LEA MONTEIRO
Lea Monteiro wraps up her collegiate career with 29 games played and 28 started at the NCAA Division I level. The Paris native compiled an assist for one point in 2025, and put up nine shots with four on goal for a .444 shot on goal percentage. She turned in 1230 minutes in 2025. Monteiro s a back-to-back CSC Academic All-District honoree, being named in 2024. She currently holds a 3.72 GPA in Integrated Studies.

RAYLIN DIXON
In her second season at Jax State, Raylin Dixon headed a defensive unit that improved from last year, only allowing 23 goals this season. Through 18 games, Dixon has started all 18, and was a pivotal defender during Jax State's five-game win streak, where the defense only have up a single goal in five games. Dixon led the team in minutes played with 1569, and played the full 90 minutes in 13 of Jax State's 18 matches. Last year, Dixon was named to College Sports Communicator's Academic All-District team for her academic pursuits, and she currently boasts a 3.75 GPA.

LOUISE FEATHERSTONE
Featherstone became a key player for the Gamecocks in 2025, playing in all 18 games while starting the final 11 of the season. She was the second-leading scorer on the team with five goals, and has the most assists on the team with three, for the second-highest points this season with 13. She notched two game-winning goals this season, one against Alcorn State and one at Mercer. Featherstone has accumulated several academic honors through her career at both Monroe University and Jax State, including Fall 2024 President's List (JSU), 2023-24 NJCAA All-Academic Team First Team, 2023-24 NJCAA Academic All-Region Team, and 2024 CSC Academic-All District (MU).

ZEMIRA WEBB
Zemira Webb joined the Gamecocks for her senior year and helped anchor the defense. Webb played in all 18 games for the Gamecocks, starting every game starting with Jax State's road contest at Mississippi State. She also put up five shots with two on goal this year, and posted 1369 minutes on the pitch, a top-five figure on the team. She currently carries a 3.65 GPA in Integrated Studies.

ALESSIA DONIA
Alessia Donia played in 15 of Jax State's 18 games, starting 13 games for the Gamecocks in 2025. She compiled a goal and an assist for three points. She has taken 15 shots, with six on goal, for a SOG percentage of .400. Donia's only goal of the season was a game-winning goal against Jackson State, propelling the Gamecocks to its then third-straight victory. Along with her athletic pursuits, Donia has also succeeded in the classroom as she's put up a 3.85 GPA.

AMELIA JACOBS
Amelia Jacobs played a large part in the Gamecocks success this season, leading the squad with seven goals scored and total points (15). She boasted a shot on goal percentage of .481 with 13 shots on goal in 27 total shots. She and Featherstone are tied for the most game winners this season with two. Jacobs was named CUSA Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 16, and was also named to Top Drawer Soccer's National Team of the Week after scoring four goals in just two games, including a hat trick in one game. Jacobs started all 18 games for the Gamecocks this season and currently boasts a 3.55 GPA.

Jacobs will advance to Academic All-American polling, which opens on Nov. 25 at 11 a.m.
