DALLAS, TX. –
Irene Artigas has earned Conference USA All-Academic Team honors thanks to her hard work this season both in the classroom and on the tennis courts.
The junior from Valencia, Spain, has an impressive 3.92 GPA as she works toward completing her degree in Management. Artigas has also been one of the top performers for the Gamecocks on the courts this year.
Artigas has achieved an 8-4 singles record as she has helped Jax State to a 49-30 singles record. In doubles action, Artigas has also impressed with an 8-5 record with teammate
Aneka Patel. Artigas and Patel's double record has helped the Gamecocks to a 25-16 record overall.
Artigas has been a key factor to the Gamecocks achieving a 9-7 record this season with one match left to play.
