DALLAS—Jax State had two of the six members of the Conference USA Bowling Performers of the Month for January.
 
Freshman Gianna Brandolino and sophomore Keira Magsam were both selected to the team for their work in helping the top-ranked Gamecocks come home with their third tournament championship in four appearances this season.
 
Brandolino was the MVP of the Northeast Classic with a 245.2 average and posting a high game of 257 against Roberts Wesleyan. In 120 total frames, Brandolino registered 81 strikes. 
 
Magsam averaged 239.5 in Baker play and 257 in traditional during the weekend. In the match against William Smith, she shot a team-best 280. Magsam posted a total strike percentage of 78.4%. 
 
The Gamecocks will take part in the Flyer Classic this weekend in Lockport, Ill.
