2011-12
Played in all 33 games for the Gamecocks as a junior and was in the starting lineup for the final 25…was fourth on the team in scoring with 7.4 points per game and second on the squad with 4.5 rebounds per contest…led the team in steals with 43, while his 1.9 steals per game in OVC games tied for the league lead…was named the OVC Newcomer of the Week twice, on Jan. 16 when he averaged 12.5 points on 11-of-13 shooting vs. Murray State and Austin Peay and on Feb. 27 after averaging 13.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in wins over SEMO and UT Martin…scored in double figures 12 times, including each of the final four games, and had one double-double, a 10-points, 10-rebound night at Tennessee State on Feb. 14…In OVC play, was second on the team in both scoring (9.6 ppg) and rebounding (4.8 rpg), while shooting .583 from the floor, second-best on the team and third in the league…played a big part in guiding the Gamecocks to a 9-4 finish, scoring 9.8 points with 5.4 rebounds per game over the final 13 games…scored a season-high 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting in a win at UT Martin on Feb. 2…scored 13 points twice, at Murray State on Jan. 12 and vs. Southeast Missouri on Feb. 23…averaged 11.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in the Gamecocks’ two OVC Tournament games…led JSU with eight boards, six offensive, in a first-round win over preseason favorite Austin Peay in the OVC Tournament…swiped a season-high six steals against SIUE on Jan. 28, a game in which he also scored 11 points and grabbed nine boards…grabbed 60 of his 150 rebounds off of the offensive glass.

PRIOR TO JSU
Played his sophomore season for head coach Jay Spoonhour at Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, Mo…started all 30 games and averaged 15.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game…led the Greyhounds in rebounds, grabbing 3.4 on the defensive glass and 3.2 on the offensive end…was second on the team in scoring and assists (2.8), while leading the way with 1.7 steals per contest…shot .575 from the floor and .357 from behind the arc…led MACC to the Regional Tournament, where he scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a loss to State Fair…played his freshman season for Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas, where he was a Third Team All-American and an All-Region performer…averaged 17.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game to earn Team MVP honors…shot 54 percent from the field, while dishing 2.8 assists per game…averaged 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Grandview Senior High School in Grandview, Mo., for head coaches Randy Farris and Reginald Morris…was a first-team all-conference, first team all-district and first team all-region performer for the Bulldogs after averaging 13 points, four rebounds and three assists per game as a senior…in that final season, was the fifth leading scorer in Grandview history and guided the Bulldogs to conference and district titles as well as a state runner-up finish…was named to the all-metro team and participated in the Missouri-Kansas All-Star Game…also lettered in football and track and was an honor student.

PERSONAL
Born on Jan. 8, 1991, in Sedalia, Mo…the son of Tyrone and Marquita Davis…has two younger brothers, Khalil and Tyreese, and an older sister, Kiera Cline…his father, Tyrone, played at Kansas State and then played professionally overseas…is majoring in sociology at JSU.
