JSU CAREER
2021: Made five starts in 16 appearances in her second year since joining the Gamecocks...scored two runs on three hits including her first career home run and drove in two runs against Middle Tennessee on March 24...had a slugging percentage of .375…from behind the plate, she recorded 41 putouts and three assists to finish the season with a .936 fielding percentage.
2020: Made seven starts in 12 games played in in her first year catching for the Gamecocks...scored four runs on five hits in 27 at-bats...drove in five...from behind the plate, she recorded 39 put-outs and five assists, finishing with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage before the season ended early due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
PRIOR TO JSU
Played two seasons for coach Jody Long at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville, Miss…an All-American, first team all-state and all-region player for the Tigers in her sophomore season after hitting .495 with a .557 on-base percentage and an .825 slugging percentage…was named the DII JUCO National Catcher of the Year in 2019 after breaking the school record for hits in a season (79) and career hits (122)…was a second team all-region player as a freshman, when she hit .368.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played her junior and senior seasons for coach Karen HArrill at Pella Christian High School in Pella, Iowa…was an all-state player for the Eagles in each her junior and senior seasons, grabbing first-team honors as a senior…that senior season also saw her set school records for hits, home runs and RBI…a three-time all-conference player in high school…played her freshman and sophomore seasons at Lynville-Sully High School in Sully, Iowa…also a member of the track team, for whom she claimed a second-place finish in the discus at the state championships.

Born on April 15, 1999, in Grinnell, Iowa…the daughter of Lonnie and Amy VanManen…has an older sister, Bayli, and two younger sisters, Rebecca and Maggie…majoring in exercise science and wellness at JSU.
