Prepped for head coach Chris Elmore ate Fort Payne High School in Fort Payne, Ala…helped lead the Wildcats to back-to-back AHSAA Class 6A Region 7 titles in 2018 and 2019 and into the state playoffs both seasons…a versatile athlete that spent time at both receiver and quarterback as a senior for the Wildcats…had 81 rushes for 577 yards (7.1 yards per carry) and six touchdowns, 38 receptions for 571 yards (15.0 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns and nine kickoff returns for 235 yards…was named the Schutt Sports Player of the Week on August 30 after rushing for 53 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries while hauling in seven catches for 145 yards and three touchdowns vs. Scottsboro…also ran track at FPHS, where he qualified for Nationals in the 110-meter hurdles.
