JAX STATE CAREER
2026: Made two appearances for Jax State against Gardner-Webb (2/21) and Missouri State (4/18). Grimes was able to pick up a walk, an RBI and a run scored in her outing against the Bears.
2025: Appeared in 5 games for the Gamecocks where she stacked up 2 hits (both doubles) and 4 RBIs.
2024: Appeared in 14 games with four starts for the Gamecocks as a redshirt freshman…tallied her first career collegiate hit on Feb. 17 against North Alabama.
PRIOR TO JAX STATE
2023: (Austin Peay) Redshirted with the Govs and did not appear in any games as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played catcher for coach Shawn Maze at Mortimer Jordan High School … member of the varsity since seventh grade and starter since eighth grade … part of four state tournament appearances for the Blue Devils, finishing fifth senior year, third as a junior, fourth as a freshman and fifth as an eighth grader … area champions three times (7th, 11th, 12th grade) and region champion her freshman season … as a senior helped lead team to a 34-13-1 record batting .358, with a .458 on-base percentage, four home runs and a team high 43 runs driven in … awarded the Selfless Award that was sponsored by the police department … as a junior, led team with 40 RBIs and was named to Birmingham Region Best of the Rest all-area team.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Erik and Amanda Grimes … has two younger sisters, MaryClaire and Willow … birthday is October 10 … majoring in public health.
