Prior to Jax State
Played her first two years at Northwest-Shoals CC as a two-way player both on the rubber and at the plate. Mitchell offensively appeared in 51 games where she compiled a .409 batting average. She tallied 67 hits; 11 being doubles, 4 triples, and 4 home runs, while stealing 21 bases. On the rubber she had 111.1 innings of work where she tallied 115 strikeouts, while only giving up 39 earned runs to make her ERA 2.45. She snagged 8 wins on the mound as well for the Patriots. Her performance against Volunteer State CC she completed a full 7.0 inning no-hitter, striking out 10, 0 earned runs, and 0 hits.
