JSU CAREER
2018: 
Made 51 starts in the 56 games she made appearances in as a Junior with 145 at-bats...batting average came out to .262 with a .407 slugging percentage as well...finished the year with 11 runs scored, 11 walks, and 4 home runs on 38 hits...had 9 doubles with 23 RBIs also...from first base, she had 404 put-outs and 14 assists with a fielding percentage of .995.

2017: Started 36 of the 44 games she appeared in as a sophomore with a .303 batting average, six doubles, two home runs, 16 RBI … committed only one fielding error in 306 opportunities … hit a walk-off home run against eventual SEC tournament champion Ole Miss on March 29 … batted .276 in 15 OVC games … did not commit a fielding error in 113 opportunities in conference play … had seven two-hit games, including one against the Rebels at home. 

2016: Appeared in 46 games as a freshman for the Gamecocks and was in the starting lineup in 30 of them…batted .197 with four doubles, three home runs and 13 RBI…successfully stole two bases in two attempts…recorded her first collegiate hit in a 2-for-2 performance against Grambling State on Feb. 26, both hits against the Tigers were home runs…lone other multi-hit game came against Alabama State when she went 2-for-2…hit .103 in 19 OVC games…had a .625 batting average with runners on third and less than two outs…finished with a .978 fielding position while committing only five errors during the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years for Dave McKenna at Central High School in Carrollton, Ga…was a first team all-state player in 2014 and second team all-state player in 2013…two-time first team all-district player…two-time first team all-region player…second team all-district and all-region player… batted .409, .503 and .389 during her sophomore, junior and senior years, respectively…a career .404 batter during her prep career…selected as offensive player of the year in 2013 and newcomer of the year in 2011…all-area MVP in 2013…Lion award winner in 2012 and 2014…helped lead the Lions to two region championships…also played basketball and ran track.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Hayley Anne Sims…born on Sept. 18, 1996 in Carrollton, Ga…the daughter of Patricia and Norman Sims…has one older sister, Cretia Parks, and two older brothers, Chris Parks and Deion Sims, who played collegiately at West Georgia.
