HIGH SCHOOL: Played five years at Decatur Heritage High School in Decatur, Ala., under head coaches Gary Voss and Heather Sparkman…a three-time all-state performer for the Eagles, claiming Class 1A Player of the Year honors in the State of Alabama as a junior in 2013…was all-region five times…in her junior year, was named to the MaxPreps Small School All-American Team after hitting .518 with 15 homers, 56 RBI, 16 doubles, six triples and 21 stolen bases and posting a 19-8 record with 189 strikeouts in 177 innings in the circle…was named to the Decatur Daily’s All-Area Team in each of her five seasons…hit over .500 for her career at Decatur Heritage…also played basketball and volleyball.
