JSU CAREER
2019-2020: Played three singles matches in her first season as a Gamecock… saw her record stranded at 0-3 by the COVID-19 pandemic… partnered with Balsen Kaya, Alessia Locati and Marine Alberteau for a 3-4 doubles record… earned the singles title at the Georgia Southern Invitational, winning three consecutive matches… also won two winners bracket doubles matches with Cristina Moll Alles in Statesboro, Ga.
PRIOR TO JSU
Transferred to Jacksonville State from State College of Florida in Bradenton, Fla… spent her freshman season at SMU before returning to her hometown to compete for the Manatees… while at SCF, Jamal played No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles and helped her team to a No. 5 ranking at the 2019 NJCAA Division I National Championship… individually, Jamal was the No. 17 singles player in the NJCAA with a No. 5 ranking in doubles.
