Live VideoJACKSONVILLE – After posting a 1-1 mark in the first weekend of Ohio Valley Conference action, the Jacksonville State soccer team returns to action with a pair of road matches in the state of Kentucky. 
The Gamecocks' (5-6, 1-1 OVC) return visit to the Bluegrass State begins in Morehead, Ky. on Friday to square off with the Eagles of Morehead State, who were picked in the preseason to win the conference title.  Last season, MSU won the league's tournament title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.  Match time is set for 5 p.m. CST. 
Jax State closes out the weekend in Richmond, Ky. for an afternoon contest with Eastern Kentucky. 
MSU enters the weekend competition at 6-2-4 on the season and 1-0-1 against the OVC after recording a draw with Belmont and edging Austin Peay, 2-1, last Sunday.  The Eagles will be looking to keep their undefeated mark at home on Friday as four of the six wins have come on the home turf. 
EKU, who struggled in the non-conference portion of the schedule, will take a 2-8-1 overall mark in its Friday match up with Tennessee Tech.  The Colonels dropped a 3-1 decision to APSU and registered a draw against Belmont.  
JSU hopes to mirror what it did last Friday as it knocked off UT Martin, 2-1, in overtime at the JSU Soccer Field.  Redshirt junior 
Courtney Hurt leads the Gamecocks' scoring attack with seven goals this season.  Junior 
Kelsey Bright has carded six goals this season to help pace a JSU offense that leads the OVC in scoring average and a top-15 ranking in the NCAA in that category.
