JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville State volleyball team will look to continue its hot streak this weekend, when they host Tennessee State and Belmont for a pair of Ohio Valley Conference matches at Pete Mathews Coliseum.
The Gamecocks (11-8, 4-0 OVC) bring a five-game winning streak into the weekend and will look to remain atop the league standings against the Tigers at 7 p.m. on Friday and against Belmont at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free to both matches, which will also be streamed on the OVC Digital Network.
Jax State is coming off a sweep of Alabama A&M on Tuesday, a match that started its current three-match home swing. The 4-0 start to league play has JSU tied with Austin Peay for first place and represents its best start in OVC play since 2009.
