DALLAS, Tx. – Jax State's Kayla Williams and Charlee Solomon have been tabbed as all-conference performers thanks to their play this season. Williams was selected as All-CUSA First Team and Solomon was chosen for the All-CUSA Freshman Team.
 
Williams, who was also picked for the 2025 Preseason All-CUSA Team, is first in the conference with 465 kills and her 4.15 kills per set also ranks first in the league. She is also eighth in the country in total kills, while her 4.15 kills per set ranks her 45^th.
 
Along with her prowess as a hitter, Williams has filled the stat sheet this season with 181 digs, 38 service aces, 13 assists, and 18.0 total blocks. Williams' 38 aces rank her third on the team, fourth in CUSA, on a team who leads CUSA with 215 aces and an average of 1.92 aces per set.
 
Williams set a season-high 27 kills in a 3-2 win over Missouri State on Oct. 10. Williams has five matches this season with over 23 kills or more.
 
Solomon is first in CUSA with 1,013 total assists and ranks third in the league with an average of 9.04 assists per set. Solomon was honored as CUSA Freshman of the Week on Oct. 13 and Nov. 10. In the 3-1 win at Louisiana Tech on Nov. 13, Solomon had 38 assists. Her performance against the Bulldogs put her over the 1,000-assist mark for the season, making her the 18^th Gamecock all-time to reach 1,000 single-season assists.
 
Solomon has also added 265 digs, 89 kills, 46 aces, and 35 total blocks this season. Solomon's 46 aces rank first for Jax State and second in CUSA. The 46 aces also have her in a tie for 21^st in the nation. Her 1,013 assists are 29^th in the country.
 
Williams, Solomon, and the Gamecocks take on Kennesaw State on Friday in the opening round of the CUSA Tournament at Florida International.
