Live StatsJACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville State soccer team will host Alabama State on Sunday afternoon in its final non-conference home match of the 2015 season.
The Gamecocks and Hornets will kick off at 1 p.m. at the JSU Soccer Field. Admission is free to all JSU home matches.
Jax State will look to continue the momentum gained last Sunday with a 1-0 road win at Jackson State after dropping the previous three matches. The Gamecocks enter Sunday's in-state tilt at 2-4 on the season, while the Hornets (0-4-1) host Georgia Southern on Friday before making the trip to Jacksonville from Montgomery.
With its 1-0 result over the Tigers of JSU, Jax State improved its program mark against teams from the Southwestern Athletic Conference to 19-1-1. The Gamecocks own a perfect 5-0 mark against ASU after posting a 3-0 win last season on the Hornets' pitch.

Kelsey Bright leads the Gamecocks in total shots with 14 this season and looking for her first goal of the season. The Kingwood, Texas native has one assist on the season. Senior
Courtney Hurt ranks second on the team in shots with nine and posted the game-winning goal last Sunday at Jackson State. Hurt moved into a tie for seventh place on the program's career goals chart with 19 in her three-plus seasons as a Gamecocks.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Caroline Robinson has been solid in goal with 38 saves on the season, which ranks among the leaders in the Ohio Valley Conference and listed 20
th in NCAA Division I Soccer.
Following Sunday's contest, the Gamecocks close out the non-conference slate on Sept. 20 against Southeastern Conference foe Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The match will be available on the SEC Network +, the online platform of the SEC Network.
