MOBILE, Ala. – The Jacksonville State men's tennis team dropped just its second match of the season Thursday in a 4-0 defeat at South Alabama.
Â
"The guys played hard today, but we came up just short on many occasions," head coach
Andres Amores said. "We knew South Alabama would be a big test for us. They don't have a couple of impressive wins over tough opponents by accident."
Â
Three individual matches went unfinished that saw the Gamecocks battling hard.
Pablo Caffarena pushed his match to three sets before it was called off, while both
Felix Morck and
Paolo Cucalon had each won a set in their matches prior to the contests going unfinished.
