JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville State men's tennis team dropped a non-conference meeting with Alabama 5-2 Thursday night at the JSU Tennis Courts at Pete Mathews Coliseum.
 
Freshmen Pablo Caffarena and Guillermo Agost each scored singles wins in the No. 5 and No. 6 spots, respectively, while Alabama took four singles points and the doubles point. The nation's No. 27 ranked player Mazen Osama swept a contest with JSU senior Jaryd Reese, while No. 97 player Spencer Richey was retired by Agost in the final competition of the night.

The Gamecocks are back in action tomorrow taking on Belmont. The match is set to begin at noon. Tennessee State visits JSU Saturday at 11 a.m. to wrap up the season.
