Lexie Libs totaled a season-high 41 assists as the Gamecocks hit .260 for the match.
It was a close first set with the Gamecocks coming out on top, 25-21. The Gamecocks presented a dominating offensive performance that included 20 kills as opposed to Chattanooga's 11, to open the match. The Mocs fought back late in the set but the Gamecocks relied on offense down the stretch for the set-win, hitting .208.
Jax State went ahead early 6-1, before a Chattanooga timeout, and never looked back, winning the second set 25-16. The Gamecocks recorded another 20 kills and hit .528, the highest total of the match.
Finally, a comeback third set for the Gamecocks led to a 25-18 set-win, securing the fourth consecutive 3-0 sweep.
Lena Kindermann is edging her way closer to recording 1,000 kills – her nine kills tonight leave her just 16 more until the feat.
Kaylie Milton recorded double-digits kills for the Gamecocks with 11 while also totaling 11 digs. Libs added 13 digs and two kills.
Kylee Quigley and Gonzales each recorded a block.

Todd Garvey. "We look forward to the upcoming challenges within the ASUN conference. We try to schedule tough non-conference games, we are playing Purdue here in a couple of weeks who is ranked eighth in the country."
The Gamecocks return to action this Friday, Sept. 3, at the Charleston Southern Tournament for away matches against Wyoming and Charleston Southern.
