JACKSONVILLE — The Jax State soccer team prepares for its final road match of the season, taking on the Kennesaw State Owls at Fifth Third Stadium on Saturday, October 18. The match is slated to begin at 6 p.m. central time.
Jax State brings a 6-7-3 overall record into the contest, along with a 0-5-1 conference mark, after falling in its two Conference USA matches last week. On Thursday, the Delaware Blue Hens took down the Gamecocks 2-0, then Saturday, the Gamecocks fell to the Liberty Flames 5-0.
Kennesaw State is 1-10-4 overall along with the same 0-5-1 mark in CUSA play. Last week, KSU fell 2-1 at Liberty before dropping its Sunday match to Delaware, 4-0.

Amelia Jacobs is the leading scorer on the team with seven goals, while Rebecca Womer is Kennesaw State's leading scorer with four goals.
Louise Featherstone has tallied three assists for the Gamecocks, while the Owls have three players with two assists each. In the net, Jax State's
Ella Holmberg has 48 saves for an .800 save percentage and 1.04 GAA, while Charlee Bernal for the Owls has 46 saves for a .656 save percentage and a 4.34 GAA.
With LA Tech's victory over Missouri State on Thursday night, both teams have officially been eliminated from the CUSA Championship tournament.

Jax State will conclude the regular season on Sunday, October 26, against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.
