DALLAS, TX. – Marko Milosavljevic has won the CUSA Athlete of the Week for the final time this season thanks to his efforts against Kennesaw State and UAB. Milosavljevic went 2-0 in singles and paired up with David Krasner for a 2-0 week in doubles as well.
 
Milosavljevic won twice in the No. 3 slot against the Owls and the Blazers, while him and Krasner's two victories came in the No. 1 slot in doubles play. Milosavljevic helped lead the Gamecocks to two 4-0 wins over rivals and end the regular season on a six-match winning streak.
 
Milosavljevic started the week with a 6-3 in doubles against Mikolaj Lis and Anthony Weingarten of Kennesaw on Friday, April 11. He then got a 6-0 win in the first set of his singles match against Kyvan Rietkerk and earned a 7-5 second set win to clinch the match over the Owls.
 
Against UAB on Saturday, April 12, Milosavljevic clinched the match victory with his singles match against Ondrej Valek. Milosavljevic opened the match with a tight 7-6 win in the first before dominating the second set 6-1.
 
Milosavljevic and Krasner also got a 6-3 doubles win over Georgios Nouchakis and Juan Pablo Valdez of UAB.
 
Milosavljevic and the Gamecocks will head to Lynchburg, Va., to face Liberty in the opening round of the 2025 CUSA Tennis Championship on Saturday, April 19 at 12 pm central.
