JACKSONVILLE—The Jax State soccer team will finally get a match on its home pitch Sunday when it plays host to UNC Asheville at 1 p.m.
Jax State is 1-1-1 to start the season, opening with a win at West Georgia, a draw against North Alabama, and dropped Thursday's match at No. 21 Mississippi State.
In the 3-0 loss at Mississippi State, the Gamecocks held the Bulldogs off the scoreboard until the 53

Camdyn Magrosky made six saves in the match after recording her first career shutout against UNA. The guests had a couple of shots early and generated two corners in the contest.
The Bulldogs of UNC Asheville come in at 1-1 with a 1-0 loss to open the season against Miami and a 1-0 win over Wofford on Sunday. Lily Adams had the lone tally of the contest in the 66
th minute of play. In goal, Gracie Murray has 12 saves and one goal allowed in 180 minutes.
This will be the second meeting between the two teams after the Bulldogs were a 2-0 winner last year in Asheville on August 29
th.
