2012: Saw action in 45 of the Gamecocks’ 56 games as a junior and was penciled in the starting lineup 34 times…hit .229 with 14 RBI and a pair of doubles on the season…had a .250 average in 21 OVC games…recorded six multi-hit games, including two three-hit performances (vs. Albany on Feb. 25 and at Morehead State on April 1)…drove in a season-high three RBI in a 2-for-4 game vs. Middle Tennessee on March 27…drew 12 walks on the year including two games with two walks.

PRIOR TO JSU: Played two seasons for coach Meadow McWhorter at Mount Hood Community College in Gresham, Ore…was a standout in both seasons for the Saints, earning NFCA All-America honors as a sophomore after being named the Southern Region Player of the Year as a freshman…led MHCC to a combined 69-18 record, back-to-back NWAACC titles and the Southern Region Title as a sophomore…in 2011, hit .445 with 15 doubles, two triples and three home runs and posted a .500 on-base percentage to drive in 29 RBI…was the MHCC Female Athlete of the Year and a first team Southern Region selection…was named to the Sophomore Showcase…hit .427 as a freshman in 2010…earned NWAACC All-Academic honors in 2001.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coaches Ken Crouse and Bob Vanhor at Mountain View High School in Vancouver, Wash…was a three-time all-district performer and a second-team all-state selection as a senior…boasted a career .443 batting average, including a .485 clip in her senior season…a three-time first team all-region pick by The Columbian…hit .387 as a freshman and then batted over .400 in each of her last three seasons.

PERSONAL: Born on July 6, 1991, in Portland, Ore…the daughter of Chris and Shirley Guy…has one older sister, Christi Hadenfield…is majoring in exercise science and wellness at JSU.
