JSU CAREER:
2016: Appeared in 28 games in the circle for the Gamecocks as a junior, receiving the starting nod in 16 of them…threw 122.2 innings en route to a 17-5 record and a 2.85 ERA…struck out 99 batters and walked 73…tossed a six-hit shutout against Morehead State on April 16…recorded two saves with them coming against Western Carolina and Samford…pitched 10 innings during the OVC Tournament and allowed only one run, three hits, five walks and eight strikeouts in those two games…took a no-hitter into the fifth inning against SIUE on her first appearance during the OVC Tournament…earned OVC All-Tournament and All-OVC Second Team honors…pitched the Gamecocks to a 3-2 win over USC Upstate to advance the Gamecocks to the championship game of the Auburn Regionals.
2015: Appeared in 32 games in the circle for the Gamecocks as a sophomore, receiving the starting nod in 29 of them…threw 139.2 innings and compiled a 13-5 record and a 2.66 ERA…struck out 115 batters…tossed 14 complete games and two shutouts…appeared in 14 OVC games, starting 12 of them, going 7-2 with a 2.60 ERA…struck out double-digit batters twice, 14 against Elon and 12 against EKU.
2014: Appeared in 10 games in the circle for the Gamecocks as a true freshman, receiving the starting nod in three of them…threw 30.2 innings and compiled a 5-2 record and a 2.74 ERA…struck out 16 batters…tossed two complete games and a shutout…appeared in four OVC games, going 2-1 with a 2.10 ERA…made her collegiate debut against Furman on March 8 and tossed complete game shutout n a 3-0 JSU win that saw her strike out five and scatter seven hits.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Saks HS prior to coming to JSU…named first team all-state in 2011, 2012 and 2013 while earning second team honors in 2008…finished her senior season with a 0.48 ERA while striking out 610 batters…finished her career with 1,664 strikeouts and a 1.16 ERA…was named MVP of the state tournament after helping the Wildcats win the 2012 AHSAA 3A State Championship.
PERSONAL: Born on July 25, 1995, in Anniston, Ala…the daughter of Matthew and Denise West…has one older brother, Nathan…is majoring in nursing at JSU.
